I've been doing some fanart to put up, because unfortunately I can't put up any other artwork I'm doing right now :/ top secret stuff and all that!

Ventress from the Clone Wars series. I actually LOVE that show, it's got so much darker from how it started off.

Beautiful colors. One of her best outfits too! Ventress was one of my least favorite characters in previous seasons of the show. Her growth over the last season was really interesting and she's slowly becoming a favorite. Very nice picture!

I know what you mean, in the first few series (even in the 2D animation) I wasn't too keen on her character but I loved her design. I think it wasn't until perhaps end of series 2/start of series 3 did her character actually catch up to how cool her design was. She is now one of my favourites! And yes, the Night Sister outfit is one of my favourites of hers

The bounty hunter episode with Boba was great. She finally won one! Her fight teamed up with Obi-wan against Maul and his bro was really amazing to see. When Maul almost gets her as the door closes...was so intense. I was yelling at the TV. Was like another win for her. It will be interesting to see where this all goes with Ventress.

Ah yea those were a great couple of episodes, and how she feels a duty of trying to fix her mistake, even working with an old enemy to do so. I love it when stories have those sorts of moments, I feel it really adds so much depth to a character. Definitely interested in seeing where this goes, though I am wondering if they are starting to build things up to that live-action SW tv series that I believe is in the approval stage right now...Not sure, the husband knows more about it, but meant to be based on the scummy end of the Star Wars galaxy and will involve more bounty hunters and such...Just now with Ventress being a bounty hunter, I wonder, will they write her into that series?

I read an interesting article about Boba and how he is evolving through this series. He just can't start out as a badass. He's got to get there. Really looking forward to a rematch though I am not sure Ventress will be on the winning end of that one. Not kill her but an ongoing contest between the two could be interesting. As none of the Skywalker story is a part of the live-action they have to have some name characters carry over. She would be a good bet I agree. How she interprets her winning streak will be interesting. I think they will turn her back to good, especially with the flashback to her childhood as a Padawan. Would give reason for Obi and others to believe Anakin could change. Though not as evil or powerful as Vader, her turning would set a precedent for having some hope ya know?

Yea I was surprised how nice Boba seems at the moment, especially when he tried to protect that girl who was going to be shipped off to be married...And who the hell keeps their future with in a box with no breathing holes? poor thing!

I would be interested to see how he turns all badass, though I thought seeing his dad being decapitated would have been enough to push him over the edge... I am sure it's probably in a comic somewhere, so far a lot of the stories they have used in the clone wars series are from comics or novels. They even use a lot of the designs from comics (such as Maul's new look).

Are you familiar with Kilian Plunkett's work? He does the character design on Clone Wars and his comic work is beyond amazing. If you have never read the Alien comics with his art, stop reading this and go get them. The art is fantastic and gruesome and the stories are really cool too.

I think I have seen his stuff as in the UK the bluray releases of the Clone Wars comes with a little booklet filled with art work

I usually flick through them for inspiration for my own stuff as all the designs in there are freaking amazing, even the rubbish little doodles they do have so much character

And has he done stuff that are seen in the Alien Omnibus? if so I think I must have read it! I love those comics, so well written and drawn
